Columbia County shares the vision of Healthy People, Healthy Places.  There are times when people need help to achieve this vision.  Funds used in Columbia County will help to promote this vision by helping consumers with Emergency Assistance Funds to assist in a financial crisis which can include, but is not limited to rent and transportation.  Funds will be distributed as a one-time gift.

Funds will also be available to consumers to help with non-traditional methods of treatment and experiences not covered by other funding sources.  Funds will be used as a payor of last resort.

Lastly, families that are working with Health and Human Services that would like to provide their child with an experience that they otherwise could not afford may request funds to be used for an experience.  An experience may include but is not limited to a camp or music lessons.
