The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all. In response, StoneRidge has partnered with our foundation to support people in Waushara County that have been impacted. They will be donating 100% of their e-commerce profits, which will be distributed through the Waushara County Human Service Department to those in need.
These funds are used to send low income children to summer camps and other activities. Without scholarships, these children would not be able to attend. These experiences provide crucial supervision and enrichment to at risk children during the summer months. Annual cost is approximately $1500.
Community Intervention Program
These funds send youth offenders to places like Rawhide for treatment and enrichment activities, especially during the summer months. The funds also provide other incentives for positive behavioral changes. Annual cost is approximately $1500.
Mental Health and Substance Abuse
These funds are used for activities, needs and loans for Human Services consumers with mental health or substance abuse issues. Case managers build relationships with these consumers and ensure that funds are spent wisely on group social activities, limited one-time client needs, and short term loans. Annual cost is approximately $1500.
Emergency Assistance Fund
These funds are used as one time gifts to help out people caught in a bind. This can be a number of different things, but a month’s rent, electric bills, and gas money are a few examples. The fund was created to make sure everyday needs are met, but is also only a one time gift so the beneficiary doesn’t become dependent on it.
